Manipur Police Detain 246 in Ongoing Raids; Security Tightened Across State
Imphal, : Manipur Police have intensified their efforts to maintain law and order by conducting extensive raids and search operations in sensitive and hard-to-reach areas across various districts of the state. During these operations, 246 individuals have been detained for violating various sections of the law.
In addition to these detentions, the police have ensured the safe movement of essential commodities, with 158 vehicles facilitated on National Highway No. 37 and 40 vehicles on National Highway No. 2.
To guarantee free and secure transportation, strict security measures have been implemented at all sensitive locations. The state has seen a large-scale deployment of security forces in these areas to prevent any untoward incidents.
Furthermore, the police have established 104 check posts and checkpoints across both the hill and valley districts of Manipur, reinforcing the state's security apparatus amidst ongoing tensions.
