(Mumbai)In the wake of the horrifying rape and murder of a trainee doctor at a Kolkata hospital, Pakistani actor and singer-songwriter Mohsin Abbas Haider issued a public apology to women globally, expressing his shock and sorrow over the tragic incident. Haider's heartfelt message, which included the hashtags "hang the rapist" and "justice for [name omitted]," was intended to convey his support for victims and call for justice.
However, Haider's apology has sparked significant backlash on social media, with many users questioning the sincerity of his sentiments given his own troubled past.
