In Bihar, 16 children were injured in a collision between a school van and a truck, with two of the children in serious condition
Patna:On Thursday morning, a collision between a truck and a school van near Devna Chowk on National Highway 31 in Begusarai district resulted in 16 children being injured, with two in serious condition.
According to the police, the Mount Carmel School van was transporting 16 children to school when it collided with a truck. All the children in the school van were injured in the accident.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred at a cut point where the school van, traveling in the correct direction, was hit from behind by the truck. Refinery police station chief Amarjeet Prasad arrived at the scene and had all the injured children admitted to the nearby Glocal Hospital. After receiving initial treatment, 14 children were sent home, while the two with serious injuries are continuing to receive medical care.
