Saswata Chatterjee Backs Prabhas Amid Arshad Warsi's ‘Joker’ Comment, Calls Him 'Extraordinary'
Mumbai,In the wake of Arshad Warsi's recent controversial remarks about Prabhas's performance in the film Kalki 2898 AD, Saswata Chatterjee has come forward to support Prabhas. Warsi's comment, describing Prabhas's portrayal as resembling a "joker," sparked a significant debate on social media, dividing opinions among fans and actors alike.
In an interview with India Today, Saswata Chatterjee addressed the issue, emphasizing his admiration for Prabhas's work. He remarked, "I don't want to comment on Arshad Warsi’s opinion; that’s his perspective. However, Prabhas, with his larger-than-life screen presence, was an extraordinary choice for the role. His performance in the film is nothing short of amazing."
The controversy began when Arshad Warsi criticized Prabhas’s role in the film, stating, “I am really sad. Prabhas was like a joker. I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa? Mujhe nahin samajh mein aata (What have you made of it? Why do they do such things? I never understand).” This comment triggered a wave of reactions, with some Telugu actors criticizing Warsi's view and fans rallying in support of Prabhas.
As the discussion continues, Saswata Chatterjee's support adds a significant voice in favor of Prabhas, highlighting the contrasting opinions on the actor's performance and the ongoing debate within the film industry.
